Balisage 2010 Contest - Solve the Modern Tower of Babel
As part of the Balisage 2010 Conference, MarkLogic has put forth a challenge in the form of a contest. The goal of the contest is to encourage markup experts to review and to research the current state of wiki markup languages and to generate a proposal that serves to de-babelize the current state of affairs for the long haul. DemoJam Participants Selected for MarkLogic User's Conference 2010
We are excited to announce the participants for the upcoming DemoJam on May 3rd, sponsored by our partners, Avalon Consulting LLC. The DemoJam will start promptly at 5pm on the Pacific Terrace of the Intercontinental Hotel. At 5PM, Matt Turner and Norm Walsh will draw the random order. Participants will then be called to the stage in that order and given 300 seconds to impress the crowd and take home an iPad. Read more >

DemoJam at MarkLogic User's Conference 2010
MarkLogic will hold a demo contest, called DemoJam, on May 3rd, 2010 at the MarkLogic User Conference opening reception. Everyone is welcome! The demo must be under 5 minutes and must be of technical nature. The crowd will vote on the winner. Winner takes home an iPad. DemoJam started as an internal MarkLogic contest that we have expanded to include our developer community. Because of the great enthusiasm this event receives, we have to put a ceiling on the number of demos to be presented. Submit your demo now and we will invite the top 10 to compete at the User Conference event. Read more >
